A Tad Better

A Tad Better is a socially-purposed initiative which enables and supports Dad's (Tad in Welsh) to spend time with their children in a variety of ways. We know we can't change the world, but our aim is to make things just a tad better, one step at a time.

Our core belief is that the relationship between fathers and their children is vital for the well-being and development of the child, and is a key part of the fabric within a strong society. We recognise that financial constraints can often prevent fathers from being able to spend quality time with their kids. That's why we've created a program to provide financial assistance to fathers under our Tad Time grants; enabling them to create meaningful memories and strengthen the bond with their children.

Our mission is to support fathers in need, empowering them to be actively involved in their children's lives. We offer a range of services, including:

  • Grants for Family Activities: Fathers can apply for financial assistance to cover the costs of outings, trips, and other activities that allow them to spend quality time with their kids. This can include contributions towards;
    • Club/Membership fees
    • Leisure or hobby activities
    • Days out to attractions or local tourist locations
  • Life Essentials: We provide subsidies to help fathers afford reliable childcare, giving them the freedom to work or pursue personal goals while ensuring their children are well-cared for.
  • Counseling and Mentorship: Our team of experts offers counseling and mentorship to help fathers navigate the challenges of parenting and strengthen their relationship with their children.

By alleviating some of the financial burden, we aim to create an environment where fathers can focus on being present, engaged, and supportive in their children's lives. Through our program, we strive to foster stronger family bonds, promote child well-being, and contribute to the overall betterment of our community.

If you're a father in need of support, we encourage you to explore our program and reach out to us today. Together, we can work towards a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive with the unwavering love and guidance of a dedicated father
